I’ve just been on the blog of our Tennessee friends and read this tragic saga (part 2) about the attempts of their seven-year-old to begin raising chickens. Let’s have a moment of silence for Patrick Vaughn’s short-lived chickens.
Also, you may have noticed some odd things going on on here in my paragraph breaks, italicised sections, etc. No, it’s not that I’m ignorant of basic punctuation. I’ve tried to fix it and failed. I just found out, though, that copying and pasting posts from Microsoft Word is strongly discouraged by WordPress because of–something to do with the HTML.
Papaw Walthall, our resident computer expert, told me that it might work to copy and paste it first into a simple word processing program and then to the blog, so I’m going to try that.
