Steve and Candice Watters , founders of Boundless.org, will be on FamilyLife Today Monday (August 31) and Tuesday (September 1), discussing her book Get Married. At a later date the program will also air interviews about their book Start Your Family: Inspiration For Having Babies (that’s the one I’m really looking forward to!).
Give it a listen. In my area the program comes on WCRV (AM 640) at 10:00 a.m. and on AFR TalkĀ (FM91.7) at 9:00 p.m.

I think anybody who can write books with those titles is really cool and “with it”, Biblically.
They’d both be an interesting read.
You can catch them later, on the Internet, if you miss them on the radio. Frankly, it’d be much easier to that, so it’s probably how I will. Today’s program can be listened to here (http://www.familylife.com/site/apps/nlnet/content3.aspx?c=dnJHKLNnFoG&b=3789887&ct=7273205) and you may even download it through their podcast if you like.

Hum… I listened at this so I probably missed alot, but… I heard alot that made me go- huh?
It seemed very autonomous at first. Most of the relating of young adults going on in the context of age segregated, singles group activity. The use of the theme music from “Friends” might have been a clue. I think you know what I think about that. Candace spoke of women being left with no protectors. Is the answer then to become our own protectors & “pull a Ruth” (btw- reread the story of Ruth & see how that really went down.I believe it was Naomi arranging things here)? Or maybe…nevermind. They did get around to mentioning seeking help & counsel from older folks towards the end but I think that would have been worthy of a little more air time.
Now, what does the young lady do that has no protector? Maybe her father has no vision for her? I don’t know.
Backspaccceeee. I think I’ll stop here.
